Design that listens
A well-considered garden is not a decorative gesture. It orders decisions, anticipates what will be needed and turns the initial investment into savings over the years.
LINDE · Landscape design studio in Madrid
LINDE Estudio del Paisaje was born in Madrid, at that fertile edge where architecture meets living systems and contemporary garden design begins to belong.

How LINDE reads the landscape
In Spanish, linde is the word for the boundary between two pieces of land. We understand it as something more alive: a meeting place where landscapes touch, shelter one another and multiply. A place for shade, insects, birds, memory held in the soil and the passage of time.
It also speaks of empty space—of what is allowed to breathe, of the pause between architecture and a tree, of what remains unfilled so that life has somewhere to appear.
This is how we understand landscape design. Before drawing, we observe. We listen to those who will inhabit the garden and read its soil, water, light and architecture. Only then do we choose naturalistic planting and native or climate-adapted species that can truly belong to the place.
A well-considered garden is not a decorative gesture. It orders decisions, anticipates what will be needed and turns the initial investment into savings over the years.
Planting, soil and irrigation are designed as one system, reducing demand on a resource that becomes more precious with every season.
We favour diversity, adapted species and a seasonal beauty that grows richer—not more demanding—with time.
From place to garden
Imagine before building
We work with professional 3D visualisation tools, supported by artificial intelligence, to make an idea visible while it is still taking shape. Clients can explore proportions, light, materials and atmosphere before decisions are fixed.
Before construction is costed, the project becomes clear and shared: a precise vision with less room for uncertainty and a stronger sense of how the garden will feel when it comes to life.
When a project calls for it, we work in dialogue with architects, interior designers and specialist crafts, allowing the landscape to become part of the conversation from the very beginning.
Services
We design gardens and terraces in Madrid, guide their construction and care for their development. Each place asks for its own measure and the lightest necessary gesture.

Frequently asked questions
Thoughtful landscape design avoids improvised decisions, unsuitable species and work that must later be undone. It is an investment in beauty, certainly—but also in time, water and peace of mind.
Because a garden must respond to climate, soil, architecture and the people who will inhabit it. Professional design orders the investment, reduces mistakes during construction and helps select durable, coherent solutions.
Yes. We select native or climate-adapted species suited to the real conditions of the site, improve the soil where necessary and design irrigation with precision. A sustainable garden that uses less water need not hold less life.
Yes. We can guide construction and care for the garden afterwards, preserving the intention of the project and supporting the planting through its first years.
Yes. We collaborate with architecture and interior design studios so that landscape can form part of the project from its earliest decisions.
Yes. We bring the same attentive reading to terraces and courtyards: orientation, wind, structure, irrigation and suitable species, creating outdoor spaces that feel natural and last.
